Financial Manager / Sole Accountant (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- Independently manage financial accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general ledger accounting, as well as account reconciliations and the preparation of payment runs, advance VAT returns, recapitulative statements, and other statutory reports
- Record invoices for fixed assets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to the Group, and support forecasting and budgeting for the German company within the Pepperl+Fuchs Group
- Support accounting-related projects and continuously analyse and develop business processes in coordination with Group headquarters
- Provide administrative support on HR-related matters in coordination with Group headquarters, such as time recording, personnel file management, preparatory payroll activities in cooperation with the tax adviser, and related tasks
- Act as the point of contact for specialist departments and managers, external and internal auditors, tax advisers, and business partners
Your Qualifications
- Completed vocational training as a tax clerk or comparable commercial qualification, several years of professional experience, and a successfully completed qualification as a certified accountant
- Sound knowledge of IT applications, particularly Microsoft Office, cash management software, and ideally an ERP system such as DATEV
- Good knowledge of accounting and VAT regulations
- Good English skills due to our international orientation, as well as a strong understanding of figures
- A precise, structured, and reliable approach to work
- A confident and professional manner, strong communication skills, commitment, and the ability to work as part of a team
