For an automated strapping removal process, the position of the straps must be detected reliably.
PolyCUT uses sensors to determine the position of the straps on the pallet. The robotic cutting head then moves to the calculated cutting point, clamps the strap and cuts it.
Common plastic strapping materials can be detected regardless of their color, position or degree of twisting.
